History
The North American Imaging in Multiple Sclerosis Cooperative (NAIMS) was established in 2012 with the support of the Race to Erase Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
The overarching goals of NAIMS are to:
Bring together a range of imaging expertise focusing on the study of multiple sclerosis (MS)
Develop reliable imaging-based surrogates for disease progression and treatment monitoring in MS
Accelerate the pace of MS research in North America by creating standardized imaging protocols for use in clinical research
Further the biological understanding of MS through imaging
Improve the clinical practice of MS imaging
